At Olé, we want you to enjoy your holiday while helping protect the environment. That’s why we’ve put a series of measures in place, so that every time you come and stay with us, we take care of the planet together:

• Be free of landfill-bound waste by 2025
  To achieve this, we created the 3R Department in 2023, which manages waste to reduce the amount that ends up in landfills as much as possible.

• Achieve carbon emission neutrality by 2030
  To achieve this, since 2022, 100% of the electricity we consume has come from renewable sources, from renewable energy generated on site thanks to the hotel’s 102 solar panels and through renewable energy certificates.

• Responsibly source 100% of the fish and seafood at Iberostar by 2025
  In 2023, 93% of the fish and seafood at the hotel is already responsibly sourced.

• Establish a roadmap to improve coastal health and move towards responsible tourism in 2030
  We published it in 2022 and it helped us to identify local and foreign vegetation around the hotel and create a recovery plan.
